An opportunity to reflect on and celebrate our own unique walk with God.
- We will map our own faith journey and consider examples from the Bible.
- We will also introduce the Envoy Practice of Abundance: noticing, naming and valuing in one another what God is doing and the gifts God has given.
‘How Beautiful’ is a reflective half day, focused on mapping and giving thanks for our own walk with God. We celebrate those who introduced us to Jesus and those with whom we share our faith and continue to journey alongside. We notice the patterns and rhythms of our everyday faithful walk with God alongside, naming key moments and encounters.
A short time of centring worship is followed by times of input and opportunities to reflect on and map our own journey of faith. We dwell in Psalm 139 and look at different journeys of faith found in the Bible. We also consider how God has been at work in our lives since birth, whether explicitly acknowledged at the time or not. We conclude with an introduction to the Envoy Practice of Abundance.
The title, ‘How Beautiful’ captures both the preciousness of our own relationship and walk with God, as well as echoing the words of Romans 10:15, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”, expressing the beauty of our call to share the Good News of Jesus.
