Emmanuel Project

This project is the provision of a scheme of work for RE education in a school setting. 

The Emmanuel Project provides a complete set of 51 enquiry-based units for teaching RE across the primary school with clear background notes:

• 29 units on Christianity from EYFS to KS2; and
• 22 units on other world faiths for KS1 / KS2.

It is usable with most agreed syllabuses, providing detailed support. 

This new for 2025 edition includes:

• Six new Early Years units.
• Emmanuel Road School Friendship Group – featuring in the Early Years units
• All weblinks regularly checked and updated.
• EXTEND added to every Enquiry Cycle to aid you in asking pupils BIG philosophical questions
• Additional materials
