Completion of the Basic Awareness Course is a pre-requisite to this training

If you are doing this training for the first time, you will need to complete Basic Awareness training prior to attending this course. When you are renewing safeguarding training, you are required to refresh the highest level for your role. Therefore if you have previously completed Basic Awareness and Foundation training and this is your three-year renewal, you are only required to complete this Foundation training. We would recommend that you also refresh Basic Awareness training every six years.

Duration:

This session is in person, with a group of up to 32 people, and will last for two and a half hours. It is an exact replica of the online training module, available from the National Portal.

Date/time not suitable?

If you would rather complete this training online in your own time, you can visit the Church of England National Safeguarding Team’s online learning portal
